My name is Chase Guest and I am the founder and CEO of Label 9 Distilleries. One of the questions that I always seem to get, is where did the name come from?
One evening in the early days of our company, while my wife and I were working to perfect our recipe, she looked to me and inquired “Where did you come up with the name Label 9?”
“There is just something about the number 9” I replied without hesitation.
She shot back “Is that something the fact that I have it tattooed on my foot?”
Well, in fact it did. You see, the number 9 isn’t just tattooed on my wife’s foot. 9 is also tattooed on each of her siblings and cousins. This tattoo represents the man who wore the number in both hockey and ball, their grandfather Dale Bevans, and serves as a constant reminder of the people in our lives that have helped us become who we are today.
Label 9 Distilleries was established April 2021 in Lloydminster, Alberta. We have taken the time and care to craft one of the best vodka’s around. We will never compromise quality for quantity. Our products will be sure to make any occasion just a bit more special, knowing that locally sourced materials and the highest quality ingredients are our top priority.
At Label 9 the foundation of our company is family; it was born out of continuous support, determination, and hard work. All of which are traits instilled in me and my wife throughout our lives by our parents, siblings, and of course grandparents. These traits have helped us turn what was once a dream into a reality.
Our distillery is proudly family owned and operated, from our family to yours. So as you enjoy our Label 9 Spirits, please raise a glass and toast to those who are important to you.
